Bio: Raef's pretty much a black sheep as far as gods go, mostly in that he's not really all the at interested in the field he innately excels in. He's a quiet, thoughtful and cynical and kind of moves along with whatever's going on in the world, even if he's not particularly fond of it. He's nothing like the rest of his family, who are mainly extreme extroverts (and pretty war like to boot). Though like them he can also be fairly stubborn and passionate about certain things. His innate skill is to personify fear, which is useful if you're going to go about smiting people, but not as useful if you want someone to go to the movies with. Raef is currently in fear consulting, which he dislikes intensely. He also owns an antique book store, though whether he sells any books is questionable.

Relationships: As a naturally lonely person, Raef was immediately attracted to the extroverted and irrepressibility of Loki. He clearly adores her, though whether there is anything to that has yet to be seen. Since she moved out, he's been living with a stray one-eyed orange cat affectionately named Vlad the impaler. He rarely sees his parents (Aries & Sekhmet) or siblings (Phobos).

Bio: Loki is one of those beings that people tend to like no matter what. She's so full of light and raw energy, that you tend to forgive her, even if she accidentally hurts you through her actions. Loki's a natural shapeshifter and sometimes has a hard time maintaining one morphic field, which causes some carry over into her other forms, hence her ears, eyes, teeth and nails in a human form. Like Raef, she personifies her particular power. Unlike him, she pretty much embraces it and works hard to cause mischief and mayhem. Inevitably, she seems to have gotten embroiled in something that a nice smile and possibly a little bit of clever accounting can't get you out of...

Relationships: Loki is one of those people who seem to know everyone (and you can't imagine how they do it). Her personal relationships are as yet unclear, though she obviously has affection for Raef.

Name: Vlad the Impaler
Occupation: Cat (includes sleeping, torturing small furry mammals, yowling at inconvient hours and mating with attractive female cats)

Bio: Vlad is a stray cat that came to live with Raef after Loki moved out. He's a pretty large tom cat that does cat things. Cats and Gods seem to get along.

Relationships: Likes Raef. Is dubious about other people, but can be bribed with gifts of canned crab or goldfish crackers.

Occupation:Messenger and Owner of "Hermes' Delivery Service" (now with pseduopomp shuttle service to the netherworld of your choice!)

Bio: Hermes is loud and fast and pretty proud of himself and his lot in life.Since the greco/roman pantheon has gone out of fashion, he's gone into business for himself and is very succesful at it. He's kind of an arrogant jerk, but still likeable somehow. For a clue to his personality, imagine Zaphod Beeblebrox from "The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and make him brilliant with a little bit of a mean streak, and you have hermes in a nutshell.

Relationships: He pretty much likes himself, and is indifferent about the rest of the world, unless they want to give him gifts or hire him for a job. The only person he genuinely admires is Apollo.

Bio: She's Raef's mum. She also happens to be the more bloodthirsty of the eygptian war goddesses. She likes weapons, battlefields, skulls and Aries. She is moderately fond of her children, but doesn't quite know what to do with Raef.

Bio: God of War. Also happens to Raef's father. He's a little oblivious and not particularly bright, but is definitely enthusiastic. He generally likes animals and small children and shiny armor. He's pretty much besotted with Sekhmet (or "seki-poo" as he calls her). Most of his offspring aid him in battle in some way, so he kind of forgets which is which. He thinks Raef's gift of fear is pretty cool and assumes this whole "gone native" thing is just a phase.
